Job Description:
As a Content Writer at Cyber Pashto, you will be at the heart of our educational mission, creating clear, concise, and engaging content that fuels our e-learning platform and digital presence. You will be responsible for writing a variety of materials, from in-depth course scripts and lesson plans to blog posts, social media copy, and email newsletters. This role is perfect for a versatile writer with a passion for education and storytelling, who excels at simplifying complex topics for a diverse audience.
Responsibilities:
Research and write high-quality educational content, including lesson scripts, course modules, student activities, and explainer articles.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to ensure content is accurate, effective, and instructionally sound.
Write compelling copy for our website, blog, and social media channels to engage our community and promote our offerings.
Develop content for email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials to nurture and grow our user base.
Incorporate SEO best practices into web content to increase organic reach and visibility.
Proofread and edit content produced by other team members to maintain a consistent brand voice, style, and quality standard.
Contribute creative ideas for new content initiatives and educational series.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of written work.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English, with an impeccable grasp of grammar and style. (Proficiency in Pashto is a significant plus, but not required).
Experience writing for the education or ed-tech sector is highly desirable.
Ability to break down complex topics into simple, digestible, and engaging content.
A solid understanding of SEO principles and content marketing strategies.
Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress.
Excellent research skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience using remote work tools (e.g., Slack, Asana, Google Workspace).
A degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Education, or a related field is preferred.
